If you are not feeling yourself and don’t know what to do, we are here to you feel better.

We offer free mental health and emotional wellbeing support to help you reach your goals at your pace, with no pressure and when you are ready.

Our service is free, you don’t need to worry about the cost. 

Who we can help

Be U Notts is available to anyone aged 25 or under, living in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire (excluding Bassetlaw) who is registered with a local GP.  

To register a child contact a local GP Practice near to where they live and ask for a registration form. You can also download a registration form in advance here.

If you are a student at Nottingham Trent University, you can register at Radford Medical Practice (0115 979 2691).

If you are a student at University of Nottingham you can register at Cripps Health Centre (0115 846 8888).

If you live in Bassetlaw, please visit the NottAlone website to find all the mental health support available in this area. 

If you are a parent or carer and your child is struggling we can also offer support, advice, and guidance.

If you would like to talk to us about your child’s needs, including how to help with the feelings and thoughts they are experiencing, please call us or use our form to refer your child.

Teachers, social workers, GPs, health visitors, or other professionals working with children and young people can also make referrals or signpost them to Be U Notts. 

How we can help

When you contact Be U Notts, one of our counsellors will have a chat with you to understand your situation, thoughts and feelings. You and your counsellor will then work together to decide which type of support you need.

If you are a parent, carer or professional working with children and young people, you can also fill in a Referral Form for a child or a teenager
If you think a child or teenager is at immediate risk of harm or is not safe, please contact urgent help services as soon as possible
